 Our safaris are all fully guided and personalized. Each itinerary may be tailored to your specific requirements. Our safari planners have travelled Africa and can create exciting, well-paced tours for you.  Should you enjoy golf, fishing or any other hobby for that matter, let us know about your interest and we will endeavour to include these activities in your itinerary. 

For our itineraries, we have scouted out centrally-located, quality accommodations and entertainment and activities that capture the local flavour.  We will make sure that you enjoy all the must-see attractions, plus, if and when available, we will find that once-in-a-lifetime experience that really makes for the most unforgettable vacation.
 
Our safaris are all private, which means that we do not mix any groups, i.e. no outsiders on your safari, regardless of the number of people in your group. Your safari group will have their own experienced guide, who will accompany you during the entire time that you are on Safari with Embrace Africa Safaris.  You’ll really get to know your guide, as you enjoy the fascinating scenery surrounding you!
 
Because we offer private and personalized safaris, your itinerary can be very flexible, and can be changed mid-safari.  Please bear in mind though, that additional costs may be incurred with itinerary changes.  
 
As a team, we do everything in our power to make sure your vacation goes smoothly, however, unforeseen circumstances can interfere with your travel plans.  We recommend comprehensive travel insurance that protects you in the event that you need to reschedule or cancel your trip. 
 
Accommodations during your safari are all very comfortable: Lodges are decorated in fine African style and all rooms have private en-suite facilities.  Whether they are historic, luxurious, quaint, unique or a combination of all four, you’ll find that, where you stay is just as enriching as the rest of your Embrace Africa Safari.  All Lodges that you will be staying in during your safari have 220 volt electricity, running hot and cold water in the bathrooms, as well as flush toilets.

Company History

Jill Burman is the owner of the Mafigeni Safari Company, which incorporates Embrace Africa Safaris, as well as other safari related divisions. This owner operator combined her safari and administrative skills in 1993 to establish one of South Africa’s leading safari outfits.  Jill lives in South Africa, on the Mafigeni premises with her son Alec who shares her love and enthusiasm for the wildlife and outdoor safari adventures. The Mafigeni Safari Company celebrates it’s 20th anniversary in 2013!  The Mafigeni Safari Team has experienced more than 15 wonderful years with our guests, and we are even more excited about our future.   Thank you to all our past clients for investing your safari experience with us.
